Welcome!
Thank you so much for your interest in acupuncture and for taking the time to learn a bit about my practice here in downtown Apex. I truly hope to have the opportunity to show you in person the power and benefits of acupuncture. I believe there is profound potential for acupuncture to make the world a happier and healthier place—but even more importantly, a happier and healthier you.
I’ve been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine for more than 15 years, and in that time I’ve had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and with an enormous variety of health concerns. My approach draws from several traditions, including Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with modern orthopedic techniques, electroacupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. Above all, I try to tailor each treatment to the individual person in front of me.
Most people come to acupuncture initially because of pain—arthritis, neck and low back pain, headaches and migraines, and other chronic musculoskeletal problems are among the most common things I see. Acupuncture can be particularly helpful in releasing deep patterns of muscular tension and helping to calm an irritated or overactive nervous system. I also frequently work with people seeking help with digestive problems, stress and anxiety, sleep difficulties, and other chronic health concerns.
Here at Aspire Acupuncture and Herbs, I aspire to serve those who are motivated to pursue a more holistic and natural path to health. I aim to provide a high-quality, gentle, and comfortable experience, and I take my time with patients, listen, and get to know them as the unique individuals they are. If you’ve never had acupuncture before—or are a little apprehensive about needles—please know that treatments don’t need to be painful or intense to be effective.
My deepest sense of gratitude comes when people come in as patients and leave as friends, feeling better and ready to spread the word about acupuncture.
